Tenmeia (天命) is an independent site that explains Eastern divination systems — what they actually say, how the calculations work, and where their limits are — and lets you try each of them for free.
Most English-language material on BaZi, Nine Star Ki and related systems falls into one of two camps: it either assumes you already know the jargon, or it flattens everything into a horoscope. We wanted a third option — an explanation that respects the tradition, shows its working, and is still readable by someone encountering it for the first time.
So on every page we do three things: say what the term means before we use it, show you the actual calculation rather than a black box, and tell you honestly where our simplified version differs from a professional reading.
Tenmeia is free to use and supported by advertising. We do not sell your data — in fact we never receive it, because every reading is calculated inside your own browser.
We treat these systems as frameworks for self-reflection, not as instruments of prediction. We will not tell you that a person is bad for you, that a date is unlucky, or that an outcome is fixed.
